InTouch Day Program is dedicated to creating opportunities that challenge and empower adults with developmental disabilities. Through our individualized programs conducted exclusively at the client’s home, we focus on improving their quality of life by maximizing their skill-set and independence – helping them reach milestones that are important to them.
Tailored Programs
Our services are customized to support each client’s needs and abilities. We work with low-functioning individuals in areas that include sensory activities, hand-over-hand support, and range-of-motion. We also work with high-functioning clients in areas that include daily living skills, academics, and even vocational skills! Servicing all of San Diego County, our goal is to enable individuals to achieve their highest level of independence and lead meaningful lives!
InTouch Day Program offers an array of one-on-one, in-home programs that include:
Hand-over-hand support: physically assisting clients to complete various movements, tasks, or activities
Sensory stimulation: engaging with surroundings while creating a calm and relaxing environment
Massage therapy: gentle massage to promote circulation
Music therapy: sing-a-longs, karaoke, and playing instruments
Communication/Speech: expressive and receptive communication skills
Functional Living/Academics: reading, writing, math, colors, shapes, etc.
Post-Secondary Education: Online classes, as well as offline in-home study courses
Recreational/Leisure: learning various recreational/leisure activities
Self-Care: eating skills, dressing, personal grooming, and hygiene
Vocational Skills: developing vocational skills required for a home-based business or micro-enterprise
Other services/training as needed
